A fire was reported at 2213 Willow Trail this past Friday evening, the house sustained heavy material damages due to the strength of the blaze. Fortunately there were no people injured, given that the home was vacated as reported by officials who responded to the scene.
According to the report the address belongs to the Castro family and although it was scarcely furnished it did suffer a large amount of structural damage.
Rodolfo Cardona, Fire Marshall and official in charge of the investigation, reported that preliminary investigations show that it was an electrical fire which started in the roof of the home.
The fire occurred on Friday night and both Fire and Police officials were quick on the scene to secure the area. Firefighters managed to control the flames, but the fire caused heavy damage in the ceiling, and the smoke spread to all corners of the home.
