Our local residents especially those citizens who live in the Seco Mines, Siesta, and Deer Run areas will soon be able to walk through the doors of our newest McDonald's. A project that has been anxiously anticipated since near-by residents saw first signs of construction.
On Tuesday morning the owner of the franchise Frank Mendoza and his daughter Elena Pacheco made a tour of the facility along with the engineering crew responsible for the construction in order to check the progress thus far. Mr. Mendoza stated that the project is advancing well and plans to begin furnishing the restaurant commence this week. The facility will be able to accommodate 72 people in the general dining area and more importantly will provide approximately 40 new jobs to our local economy. McDonald's is scheduled to open its doors tentatively for next February 15.
