The United States Border Patrol are organizing a luncheon which will be held in Eagle Pass for the first time to recognize the work conducted by all the women who work as law enforcement agents in local corporations, federal, state and local.
Yamilka Patterson and Stephanie Anaya, USBP agents, are in charge of distributing invitations to the various agencies in order to get all of these very special agents together at one time.
Patterson informed the News Gram that approximately 45 women in Eagle Pass work in law enforcement agencies here, one of which is Cynthia Rodriguez, the Director of the Immigration and Border Protection Agency who does a fantastic job in her role as an agent of the law.
The luncheon is slated for March 8th at the ICT and will serve to honor our women in law enforcement. Patterson went on to add that women make up a very important role in law enforcement and they carry out their duties with utmost responsibility and professionalism.
